Christmas Eve at 'the church in town' in Buckhorn
Things to ponder in the Twelve Days of Christmas
Christmas Eve at St Matthew - St Aidan
Parishioners, neighbours, friends, and families gather at quaint, little country church in Buckhorn
Our profound thanks to The Kraus Family for their gift of music to us.
And to Archdeacon David Peasgood for his music on organ this Christmas Eve.
Blessings to you in the Twelve Days of Christmas
There are angels. Especially on this holy night, there are angels. The Story of Christmas is full of angels.
~ Father Glenn
On other nights we may not see them, but there are angels just the same. On other days, we may not see them, but they are there. We may not even see them tonight but they are there… and they are here.
An angel foretold that Elizabeth would bear a son, John. An angel announced that Mary would bear a son who would be far greater than John. An angel told the shepherds of the birth of the Messiah.
Hush now and listen… for the angels. The angels will tell you. They’ll tell you by the flutter of their wings and by the small breath of heaven they send your way.
They’ll always tell you that you are lovable and that you are loved. You are forgivable and you are forgiven. There is peace for you. There is hope. You are not alone. Be not afraid.
