Full House at Christmas Tea
Full House at Christmas Tea
Hartley Hall was packed to the rafters for this favourite community event to get in the spirit of Christmas. There were delicious sandwiches and sweets for all to enjoy.

Tickets were sold out well in advance but folks were still trying to snag a ticket in the days leading up to the Christmas Tea. There were over 90 who came to enjoy an afternoon of tasty sandwiches and pre-Christmas sweets plus to learn some new tricks for creating crafts for the season and how to make a great hanging Christmas plant decoration.
New this year was the demonstration by Gwen McCallum from Serendipity Craft Werx on how to make Christmas vignettes. Then, Vikki Whitney, from Griffins Greenhouses, put her design talents into action by demonstrating how to create a Christmas plant design. This year, Vikki worked on how to make a hanging basket to add a seasonal touch to home or veranda.
It was an amazing afternoon with time to pose questions to Gwen and Vikki.
Thanks to Marion and her team for all the behind-the-scene organizing and work to make this annual event another great success. Thanks to all who came out for this fun event.
Blessings to one in all as we move into Advent and prepare for the celebration of Christmas.
