Soggy weather doesn't dampen Annual Plant & Bake Sale

Local folks come out in record numbers for great perennials and tasty baking despite rainy weather

In spite of inclement weather, members of the local community came out in record numbers to get perennials once again for their gardens and to get home-baked goods. All the plants plus home-baked goods were donated by parishioners and by friends of the parish. Our sincere thanks for this kindness and generosity. The annual event raises funds for the ministry and outreach of St Matthew - St Aidan.

Blessings and thanks to the parish teams who braved the rainy and cool day to make the event another success for the parish. And, thanks to our friends and local folks who came out for the great plants and and delicious baking. We're sure it was worth it. As the local community has come to know, the perennial plants were all of high quality from local gardens and the baked-goods were tasty, wonderful and baked with love.

Thank you to everyone!
