Parish responds for family after house fire

The people of St Matthew - St Aidan have are contributed a gift of cash to help with the family's immediate needs. Since the youngest member of the family is an infant, they also provided a carton of disposable diapers. The family home and all its contents were totally destroyed by a fire on Thursday, 10 May.

No one was injured by the fire. Neither the parents nor any of the eight children were at home at the time of the fire.

The family home was located on 36 Highway just beyond the transfer station on the way to Burleigh Falls.
