Spaghetti dinner for local community
On 15 April, the parish invited members of the local community to be their guests at a special spaghetti dinner. The parish hall was packed with about 80 guests — some familiar faces and a number of new faces. What a great way to connect.
The local community were invited to be the guests of the parish. Some people chose to make a freewill offering which was greatly appreciated but was not expected.
Local young folks helped out. A special musical treat was also provided by Maire with her talents on the piano during the meal.
Thank you to all who made this special dinner possible for the local community. And special thanks to Chef Doris Hiller, Chef Sue Swankie, and Sous-chef Peggy Roberts.
